Planning the Perfect Park City Staycation

Hey y'all. We wanted to get away for a quick weekend in Park City before the snow comes. We haven't been their with all the kids before so I got on Google and did a little research for our stay and of all the websites I looked at, www.StayParkCity.com was the most helpful.

They helped us plan The Perfect Park City Staycation!

I was able to find our lodging, restaurants, and several activities for the kids, all in one place! StayParkCity.com really thought of everything. They even have a section labeled "How to Keep Your Kids from Ruining your Park City Vacation". I'm all about the one stop shop. Being a mom of 4 littles keeps me busy and I was grateful for the helpful tips and having a nice, user friendly website to help plan our stay.

We made reservations at The Lodge at The Mountain Village. It was perfect! It had an indoor-outdoor pool, I can just stop right there, because all you mamas out there know that its all about the pool. It also had the most charming ice skating rink outside our window. Our accommodations were perfect for our family of six (kids 1-10). We had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a huge laundry room (big enough to set up the pack n' play).

The kids were so excited for that mountain air!

After we got settled and the baby was down for a nap, they busted out a puzzle that they found in the family room and I made some sandwiches in the kitchen. Packing food is a must with littles. Having a kitchen was such a lifesaver for the ever hungry kids and a sleeping baby preventing us from leaving.

Checking out the ice skating rink.

Then is was straight to the pool! We spent hours here and had the whole place to ourselves.

That view! You could see the steam rising over the water.

Mom fail. She thought I packed her swim suit, I thought she packed it. So she ended up wearing my top and some leggings. Hey, it worked. Plus we had the pool to ourselves so it worked out ok.

I'm sure the kids could have stayed all day. There is just something about swimming in a heated pool when its freezing outside. But we had a lot of exploring to do in this beautiful city. I'll be sharing the rest of our adventure in the next post.

And what vacay would be complete without a #BerdeeBath? Aberdeen (1) loves her sink baths, and this kitchen was perfect for one.

We just couldn't resist. Remember that one time?

Thanks for hosting The Salt Project, StayParkCity.com!

These are our 2 favorite places in Park City. It's been a few years since we were lucky enough to have a mini vacation there, so we're WAY overdue!

We loove park city too. It's seriously breath taking up there! I love the pictures with your babe in the sink because that's totally how my little girls love to bath... They think it's awesome. So cute!
