Pink Dinosaur "Dinah" Green Dinsoaur and the Vernal UT Rocks Group

As we drove through Duchesne, we stopped at the Eagle Memorial and my little boy found a rock painted all intricately. I was worried it was part of the Memorial and didn't want to be disrespectful.

Come to find out it's a THANG. And it's the THING to do in Vernal.

Vernal UT Rocks is actually a Facebook Group.

And it's totally okay to pick up the rocks.

My kids thought it was so cool that we decided to make our own!

They kids gathered up rocks and I bought some cheap acrylic paint from Wal-Mart. They loved it.

Don't forget to visit the Green Dinosaur on the way into town. Orion thought this was the funniest thing. The Dinosaur changes every so often with the seasons.

I love how all the dinosaurs are everywhere.

It was the perfect way to end our trip to Vernal. On the way out we stopped at "Dinah" the Pink Dinosaur and the kids put all their rocks around.

So if you find our rocks, be sure the hashtag #TheSaltProject and #VernalUTRocks!
