Giveaway | iFly | Field Trippin'

We're reposting this again, because this time, we are adding a Giveaway at the end!

You've all seen the Groupons...you've thought about it, maybe thought twice about it, but you've never tried it.

We're here to tell you, that you need to add this to your list of "Things to Try Before You Die." The best thing, it's for anyone 3 years and up. You can either check it off your list super early in life or a little later.

You'll start out with a short training video and then you'll meet your trainer. Afterwards, you'll each be fitted for a tight fitting suit. You'll tuck in any flapping clothing. Put your hair in a pony tail. Take everything loose out of your pockets. Add some earplugs and goggles and then top it all off with a helmet. (You'll use your own shoes.) Then you will all sit down in the tunnel and wait for the air to start.

Why not give your kids something to talk about? Who doesn't want to say "I went flying in a wind tunnel?"
In the words of Riz (5yr) "I almost ran out of air but I survived."

Kids ranging from 5-14 years.

Honestly, we were all a little jittery...it's kind of a super scary thought, flying in the air. I mean, most of us have seen the original Willy Wonka. Although, the instructors did tell us they would keep us super safe.

Some of the kids were naturals. Natural at bending in half... backwards.

Some of us caught on much quicker than others, while some of us flailed around like crazy.

The instructor was great though. We would basically be floating/flailing in the air and he would give us hand signals. Or he would just take our arms and legs and move them so we could fly more efficiently. It was weird how you could just change your hand position and then you'd fly a different directly suddenly, or it would make you float higher in the air. Apparently, I did something kind of wrong with my hands or legs, because I was floating all nicely then all of a sudden I slammed into the wall. I was kind of stunned, but no worse than I began. The instructor quickly helped me correct.

Each kid was given 30 seconds in the tube twice. After the first round, I felt like the kids did much better on the second, since they had a better idea of what to expect. (Breckyn age 8 "I want to go, again, and again and AGAIIIIIN.)
The last round in the tube, the instructor took hold of each of us and spun us like mad, going high up into the tube and then dropping us down almost to the floor. It was exhilarating. I was screaming/laughing/drooling and couldn't stop. Especially, the drooling.

The younger babes were out watching with Melinda. They also loved watching their siblings/friends/moms flying in the Air. Little Aiko would look up and scream "It's Mommy, she's a flyin'!"

At the end of our session, the instructor did all sorts of fancy, death defying tricks. He would shoot straight up into the tube and then shoot straight down and pop up in front of one of the babies watching. (Scaring them to death...of course.)
