Feature Friday | Tibble Creek Reservoir

Saturday we wanted to get away somewhere different with a change of atmosphere.

Driving around looking at the different places around us is one of our all time favorite things to do. We love that its a little break and takes us away from our every day tasks. We just load up the car with a few snacks, our stroller and camera then hope to find somewhere good enough for pictures. We've found some hidden gems around Utah this way!

We had seen pictures of Tibble Fork Reservoir and it just looked amazing so we hopped in the car and headed up the canyon. We got there and were slightly disappointed at first.. come to find out we just needed to go a little further.

If you head up there make sure you drive around the Reservoir to the actual parking lot, thats where the magic is, it was gorgeous!

We wandered around, skipped rocks and froze our bums off. Its the perfect place to picnic, let the kids run around and even canoe. We will be back for sure, except next time we will dress warmer or go in the warmer months!

A little about our Guest Blogger.

Hi there, I’m Emily, born and raised in this gorgeous state of Utah. I love playing with our curious and energetic son, Hudson. When he’s napping you can find me in our home office brainstorming and crafting. Aside from trying to keep up with our company, Slouch Headwear, I love to create new things like clothing, wreaths and pillows. My husband, Carl, works as a Financial Analyst during the day and does all the nitty-gritty of Slouch Headwear at nights. He loves sports, working out and photography. He's the one behind the lens which is why we don't have a picture of him on our adventure, oops! We love to be active and do our best to enjoy the simple things in life…drives through the mountains, walks around the neighborhood, homemade smoothies and playing in the backyard.
