I have a confession, I'm addicted to beautiful sugary little cakes! Also known as, Cupcakes! In my family we get cupcakes to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, good grades, Fridays...you get the idea! With this fondness for Cupcakes we have sampled a number of bakeries and have found the most perfect beautiful sugary cakes ( of all sizes ) at Cravings - Alisha's Cupcakes in Pleasant Grove, UT!

Winner of Cupcake Wars Season 7, owner Alisha had her tasty treats featured at a VIP party for the Pop-Rock band All American Rejects! This adorable local bakery delivers outstanding cupcake flavors, ample seating, friendly service and a fun atmosphere! The cupcakes are creative and the flavors change monthly so there is always something new to try! The month of March features many cupcakes that are Girl Scout themed, Samoa, Thin Mint and Tagalong to name a few! Cupcakes might not be your addiction though, so you can indulge your sweet tooth in one of their trifles (my daughters favorite is the Key Lime), cookies, brownies, lemon bars, handmade toffees, caramel corn or cake bites!

I especially love this bakery because I can enjoy SO many of their baked goods thanks to a large Gluten Free menu in addition to their normal baked goods!

They lovingly and carefully provide baked goods to those who are adhering to a Gluten free diet due to Celiac Disease or a Gluten intolerance! If you or a family member have to avoid gluten but still want to enjoy a delicious dinner roll at Easter or serve a safe birthday cake at your child's party (that tastes and looks amazing) Cravings is the place to go!

They also offer tours that include a cupcake and sampling! Tours are $5 per person (Minimum of 10 people) and lasts 30 minutes. A fun activity for Preschools, Homeschoolers or Churches!

We went for the Cupcakes but soon discovered Cravings offered so much more than just cupcakes! Alisha offers Kid and Teen Summer Bake Camps, Kid and Teen Cupcake Classes and Adult chocolate drip cake classes! Both my 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter have taken the Cupcake class which is a one evening class that teaches the kids how to make box cake taste homemade, how to fill and frost the cupcakes and decorating with fondant! The class costs $85 and includes a Cravings “You know you want me” apron, a 24 cup heavy duty cupcake pan, 1 piping bag and tip, a rolling pin plus a FREE cupcake card!!! The class was from 4pm-7pm and both my kids have not stopped raving about how much fun they had! Alisha has great energy and makes sure the kids have fun while learning!

The dates for the Kids Summer Bake Camps were just posted last week and they do fill up fast! Kids Beginner Bake Camps are a 4 day class for ages 8 and up teaching basic piping skills, how to frost sugar cookies, decorating cupcakes, making homemade pretzels, pizza and cake bites! The Cost is $100, which includes a Cravings “You Know You Want Me” apron and hat plus all ingredients, equipment and tools are supplied!
